Covid - 19
We are living in difficult times for all sport, but handball, like other contact sports, faces even more challenging times in trying to reduce the risk of Covid-19 spreading. We are committed to ensuring we are complying with EHA and government guidance so that we can remain as safe as possible for all associated to the club. Currently, for youth players, we are following EHA Stage 4 guidance of a five staged return to competitive handball, which allows for individual and small group training indoors. Government have agreed protocols for return to full competition for youth teams which will be stage 5. We will be asking all participants to comply with our protocols when attending training sessions and to make us aware if they need to self isolate.
For adults, all training is currently suspended whilst Birmingham remains in Tier 2 of the government measures. Youth training is carrying on, under EHA guidance.
Our Covid-19 Officer is: Graeme Saunders
